Pen and Pencil

The following is a journal entry written in pencil from 8/8/2020:

I should try writing with pen

Maybe that'll help me practice being okay with not being perfect

But with pencil I feel like I have more control

More friction - a pencil feels like I'm carving into the page

Like the way my hands touch clay

Pens and brushes make me nervous

It never goes into the direction I want it to

I like putting pressure on a page

I miss molding clay

Maybe I should get back into it

I'm going to keep using a pencil

I'll try not to erase

Next is a text to a friend as we exchanged journal entries:

Finally, a journal entry in pen from 6/29/2023:
